Italian Cultural Institute of London, 27th of June 2008
Sharpcut Visual Arts Project is proud to assign to Yun-Kyung Jeong the title of Best non-Italian Artist of Renaissance Painting section.
Motivation: This young artist reinterprets the East Asian spirit in her own distinctive way, positioning herself halfway between Korean traditional painting and a contemporary urban graffiti aesthetic. Without sketch, she builds intriguing imaginary landscape and architectures.
